Langkawi Island Vacation: 5 Places That You Shouldn't Miss
Langkawi in Brief
Have You Been To Langkawi ?
Langkawi is a hidden gem.
If you love cheap chocolates and empty white beaches, you'll fall in love with this island.
Since it is a tax-free area, almost everything here is cheaper than the rest of Malaysia. And because there are enough attractions and activities to do, you'll find the beaches almost empty to the point that they seem like private beaches for you and your partner.
Below are some of the things to do or places you should go when you are in Langkawi.
p/s If you speak Malay, here's a list of tempat menarik di Langkawi for you to peruse.

The queue could be long if you come during the school holidays ( Nov - Dec) but the curved observation bridge built on top if this mountain is worth the money and the wait.
Note: You'll see the 7 Wells Waterfall from your cable car. If you could muster the steep stairs, you could swim in one of the wells. Goddess were said to swim here before the areas were discovered by humans.

Those who love arts and museum will find the Galeria Perdana an entertaining visit.
The gallery houses over 2,500 gifts that the then prime minister, Dr. Mahathir Muhammad received from fellow ministers and head of states from all over the world. Instead of keeping them for himself, Mahathir returned these gifts to the government for safekeeping. He believes that these extraordinary gifts belong to all Malaysians.
Here, you'll see all sorts of gifts from all over the world -- from swords and AK 47 to replicas of ancient battleships and formula 1 cars.
The place is big and cool and is an excellent way to spend your time the island gets too hot. Unfortunately, most of the gifts lack explanations.
